Important recruitments could not find a place in the calendar for the year 2023 released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). These include LT Grade Teacher Recruitment, Additional Private Secretary (APS) Recruitment, Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Recruitment etc., while the Commission has received the requisition of posts for these recruitments.

Competitive students have questioned the functioning of UPPSC and governance for not including important recruitments in the calendar. The commission has received the requisition for 5418 posts of LT grade teachers. These include 3341 posts in the male category and 2077 in the female category. Similarly, requisition has been received for about 400 posts of spokesperson, of which there are 400 posts for men and 120 for women. Apart from this, the commission has also received requisition for more than 300 posts of Additional Private Secretary.

Commission has also received the authorization of new posts of RO/ARO. Despite this, no place was given to any of these recruitments in the annual examination calendar of the Commission. LT grade teacher recruitment is stuck due to lack of clarity on equivalent qualification. The commission had written a letter to the government months ago to clarify the position on equivalent qualification. Sources say that till now this recruitment was not included in the calendar due to the situation not being clear.

At the same time, the work of amendment in the service rules of Additional Private Secretary is also stuck and for this reason new recruitment is not being started despite the post being vacant. For this reason APS recruitment also did not find a place in the calendar. Avneesh Pandey, president of the Competitive Student Sangharsh Committee, says that both the commission and the government are not serious about the problem of the unemployed. Recruitments are stuck due to very small reasons, which can be resolved within a week at the commission and government level.

Calendar released just for formality
Competitive students say that the commission released the annual calendar of recruitment examinations just to complete the formalities. In the meeting held on Monday in Salori under the banner of Yuva Manch, competitive students said that Medical Officer, Ayurveda (Screening) Exam-2022, Assistant Prosecution Officer (Main) Exam-2022, PCS J-2022 and Mines Inspector (Main) Exam-2022 The date is already set. Only PCS-2023 and ACF/RFO-2023 have been included as new recruitment exams in the calendar. Apart from this, no new examination for the year 2023 has been included in the calendar. Rajesh Sachan, Anil Singh, Ambarish Chaturvedi, Man Singh, PS Parihar, Rahul Singh, Vipin Tiwari, Rakesh Kumar etc were present in the meeting.
