Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the result of written examination for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE) Agriculture under Combined State Engineering Services (General/Special Selection) Examination-2021. In such a situation, out of 27 candidates declared successful earlier, 15 candidates have been shown the way out and 22 new candidates have been declared successful.
According to the advertisement of the recruitment, only the candidates of graduate agriculture were eligible for the post of AE Agriculture, whereas a total of 27 candidates were declared successful for the interview on the basis of the consolidated merit of Civil/Mechanical/Agriculture Engineering for this post. The commission had to revise the result when the mistake came to light. The commission has now released the revised result for this post by including only the candidates of Agriculture graduate.
According to the commission’s secretary, Alok Kumar, the result of the candidates of civil / mechanical engineering subject included in the examination results declared earlier / the recognition of this post has been cancelled. In the revised result, 34 candidates have been declared successful including only the candidates of Agricultural Engineering Branch, including 12 candidates declared successful only for Agriculture Engineering Branch earlier.
This information has also been made available on the Commission’s website and information board. Intimation for interview of successful candidates will be issued separately later. The marks and cutoff marks related to the result will be released on the website of the commission after the declaration of the final selection result. The test result is completely provisional.
