Incessant rain at various places in UP has caused havoc for more than the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, more than 16 people have died in various accidents due to rain, out of which 11 people have lost their lives only in Etawah district. More than 20 people have been injured during this. People had to face a lot of trouble due to water logging at places. People going to and from office in the morning and evening also had to face difficulties.
In Kripalapur village of Thana Ikdil, the wall of the kutcha house also collapsed, due to which the elderly couple died after being buried under the rubble. The third accident took place in the substandard Ajmat Ali area of the city Kotwali area. Three children died and two people were injured when the house collapsed here. Alia (7), Ahil (8) and Suhana 13 months are among the dead. The laborer died after a hut collapsed in Banglan Andawa village of Chakarnagar. In Mahewa too, one died due to the collapse of a kutcha house.
