On Friday, a letter has been issued by the State Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar to all the district magistrates regarding the municipal elections. According to the letter, the voter list will be published on March 10. Claims and objections will be taken on this list from March 11 to 17. During this the names will be added, deleted, modified, shifted. Meanwhile voters can apply for inclusion of their names online on the website www.sec.up.nic.in. Voters who have completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2023 will also be able to apply.
Names can be added to voter list till 3 pm today
The bugle for the Cantonment Board elections has sounded. Voting will be held on 30 April and nomination from 25 March. Applications will be taken for inclusion of names in the voter list till 3 pm on March 4. People are reaching the Cantonment Board office to get their names added. The election schedule has been issued by the Board’s Chairman, Brigadier Rajeev Nagyal. Elections are to be held here for seven wards. Till now there are 6326 voters here.
