State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh reached Delhi on Saturday to brainstorm on the formation of the new team of the state BJP. At the level of National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh, there will be a discussion on the formation of the new state BJP team. The new team may be announced next week.
Six months have passed since the appointment of Bhupendra Chowdhary as BJP state president. For the last one month, the formation of Chaudhary’s new team is awaited.
Chaudhary and Dharampal Singh have prepared the panel for the formation of the state team after discussions with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak. At the same time, opinion polls have been held on the names included in the panel of the new team along with the chief office bearers of the western and eastern regions of the Union.
According to sources, three new names can be included in place of State General Secretary JPS Rathore, Subrata Pathak, Priyanka Rawat. There is talk of Pathak contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Kannauj and Priyanka Rawat from Barabanki. Hence both can be exempted from the obligation of the organization to work in the field.
