The Adani group has also received a severe blow in Uttar Pradesh amid global shocks from the Hindenburg report. Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam has canceled the tender for installation of smart prepaid meter of the company. Its cost is around 5400 crores. The rate of this tender was about 48 to 65 percent more than the estimated cost, due to which it was opposed from the beginning. Now the eyes are also on the tenders of Paschimanchal, Purvanchal, Dakshinanchal and Discoms. There is also a tender of Adani group in Dakshinanchal.
