Saddam, the brother-in-law of Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s brother Ashraf, had come to Bareilly after him. Here in Khushboo Enclave, he was taking a house through a broker. Often used to keep his wife and family here as well.

Former MLA Khalid Azim alias Ashraf was shifted from Naini Jail to Bareilly Jail on 11 July 2020. Since Atiq Ahmed was sent to Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat on the instructions of the Supreme Court, Ashraf was looking after the black business related to Prayagraj.

His brother-in-law Saddam had come to Bareilly about two and a half years ago to run Ashraf’s network badly. Initially, after spending a few days in a hotel, he managed to get a house in Khushboo Enclave through a broker. His henchmen often lived here.

Sometimes he used to bring his wife and family too. Here he never quarreled with the people around. He had limited and cordial relations with the people. Now people are talking about these things.
