Police is investigating the property in Banda of Zafar Ahmed, who is said to be close to mafia Atiq Ahmed, allegedly involved in the murder of Umesh Pal in Banda district. His two sisters were interrogated by the police for a long time. The documents of both the houses are being scrutinized from the municipality and development authority.

It is discussed that Zafar is at his in-laws place in Jaunpur. The residence of Zafar Ahmed, who lives in Gular Naka locality of Banda, was raided by the police on Wednesday night. Here he was interrogated at the residences of his two sisters Shahnaz Parveen and Azra.

Azra’s house was found locked. Ajra is a primary school teacher in Reuna village. While Shahnaz Parveen was posted as Supervisor in Child Welfare Department Vikas Bhavan. She is retired. The police had interrogated Shahnaz for a long time.
