New Delhi : On Tuesday, in the ongoing hearing in front of the Election Commission regarding the rights of Shiv Sena’s party boat and Dhanushyabaan or party’s election symbol, Shinde claimed that the change of events in Shiv Sena’s party was illegal. Uddhav Thackeray came to claim that Shiv Sena’s chiefship and authority were taken over by him. On the other hand, citing the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court to get Thackeray, demanded that the Election Commission should give new contests till the decision of the court. The commission has fixed January 17 for the next hearing of the case.
After the big split in the Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde filed an application before the Central Election Commission, saying that Shiv Sena is a bow and arrow or a target; Also, the appointment of ‘Shiv Sena’ party chief Uddhav Thackeray has been declared illegal. The next hearing in the matter was held before the commission on Tuesday. Senior jurist Mahesh Jethmalani and Thackeray’s group Kapil Sibal by the side of Shinde group.

Jethmalani claimed that Uddhav’s Shiv Sena party post was illegal. When Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray was alive, the party events of Shiv Sena used to focus on Balasaheb Thackeray as the founder of the party. After Balasaheb’s death, Uddhav Thackeray illegally changed the side of Shiv Sena. According to the latest developments, Uddhav himself has kept the chief post of Shiv Sena. All the rights in the party are exclusive to you. This is illegal,’ Sangun Jethmalani clarified before the commission in July 2022 that Eknath Shinde was elected as party president of Shiv Sena.
Uddhav’s position in the party has been confirmed because of Shinde’s party presidentship, he claimed. Kapil Sibal, representing Uddhav Thackeray, drew attention to the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court. ‘As the hearing is going on in the Supreme Court, the Election Commission should be offended. Till the decision of the court is not published, the commission should not give any decision in the case,’ Shinde claimed that the documents submitted in favor of the case were fabricated.
