Due to the fog, there has been a tremendous impact on the operation of trains. On Saturday, many trains, including the country’s fastest running Vande Bharat Express, came late. Due to this the passengers had to face problems.
The country’s semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express, which reached Cantt from New Delhi at 2 pm, arrived late by 26 minutes. This train left at 3:15 pm instead of its scheduled time of 3 pm. Similarly, Down Begumpura Express was delayed by 10 hours, Down Punjab Mail by eight hours, Ganga Satluj Express by about six and a half hours, Kolkata Express by five hours, Doon Express by three hours and 10 minutes, Gondia-Barauni Express by four hours. While the Kamayani Express coming from Banaras station reached three and a half hours late.
