Raman, who runs a car service garage at Bhopura in Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, tricked his live-in partner Divya (35) by taking her to Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, strangled her to death with a chunri in the car and threw the body down the hill. The accused misled the police and Divya’s family members. The accused lodged his missing complaint at the Indirapuram police station, and also pretended to search for him for seven months. Police say that Divya’s mother Bitto was suspected by his changing statements, when the accused was strictly questioned, shocking revelations were revealed. While living in a live-in relationship with Divya, the accused got married on May 3. Raman took the life of three months pregnant Divya just 15 days after the marriage just to be with the other.
