'Times Literature Fest' started, attempt to reach literature to Kotyavadhi readers

The ‘Times Literature Festival’ started on Saturday in the presence of eminent writers and well-known writers. The festival was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Electronics, Information and Technology, Railways and Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav. ‘Through the Times Literature Festival, we are trying to bring newspaper literature to millions of readers; Because many folk books are not read. The story of Ghadamodi during the festival will be spread to all of you through the newspaper,’ said Mr. Sameer Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of ‘Times Group’, at the reception.

The logo of ‘Times Literature Festival’ was unveiled by Vaishnav, Vice Chairman of ‘Times Group’ and MD Sameer Jain, Director of ‘DS Group’ Atul Jain. Ya Vaishnav, while speaking to the students participating in the fest, appealed to the students, ‘Jopasavi, who loves science and literature’. Giving the example of ‘Vande Bharat’ train, Vaishnav said, ‘It is being created for future generations, that you will make progress in your career and life. In future you will get a chance to live in a developed country.

Speaking at the inauguration of ‘Times Literature Festival’, DS Group’s Business Head C.K. Sharma said, ‘We have been associated with the Times Literature Festival since its inception. Literature awakens the desire of love, fame, family, intellectual, prosperity in man, literature is the expression of human creativity. The theme of this year’s Times Literature Festival is ‘Ek Jag, Anek Shabd,’ aashi aahe. It is seen that many imaginations, many thoughts, many ideas come together and a dialogue takes place. C.S. Lewis has said that literature does not stop at merely commenting on facts, but adds more to them. Literature does the work of nurturing the qualities that are necessary in our daily life. Literature would have done the work of portraying the rudeness that had become a part of our lives.

On the first day of the fest ‘Why Fear a Religious Nation?’ The participants took the experience of the discussion on the topic. In this R. Jagannath, Ashwin Sanghi, Pawan Verma, Sudhindra Kulkarni would have been participants. ‘Is a Good Time to be Queer in India,’ ‘How Much Mythology is Part of History,’ ‘Changing Face of Books’ and many other issues discussed in the fest. Literary lovers got an opportunity to share the views of Vivek Agnihotri on ‘You Can Achieve More’ or Satsrat Shiv Khera, ‘Kashmir Files Matter’.
