Delhi News: Police have arrested two teenagers for allegedly killing a man, Arun Panchal, for refusing to pay Rs 200 for gambling in central Delhi’s Patel Nagar. Police said that the incident happened on Sunday, three boys tried to rob a man named Ashok Panchal for gambling in a park in Patel Nagar and started demanding money. When she resisted the robbery attempt, the accused attacked her with knives, iron rods and bricks and killed her.

Secret of murder revealed from CCTV footage

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said that during the investigation, the police obtained CCTV footage from the surrounding areas. After watching the footage, it was found that three minor boys were involved in the incident and they used knives, iron rods and bricks to kill the victim. In the footage, two accused are seen thrashing the victim with iron rods and bricks, while one is seen stabbing them, the officer said.

Murdered for 200 rupees

He said, “During interrogation, the juveniles confessed that they demanded Rs 200 from Panchal for gambling and when he protested, they forcibly took money from him. Following this, they had a fight and they killed Panchal. did it.”

The third accused, identified as Ravikant, is still absconding and efforts are on to nab him, police said, adding that the knife used in the crime has been seized.
