New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Friday declined to hear a petition filed by a woman for protection of more than 60 stray dogs. The petitioner woman has claimed that she has been taking care of the dogs for a long time.
Justice. M.R. Shah and M. M. Sudresh’s bench or the lawyer who filed the petition by the woman informed that the case should be presented before a separate bench where other similar cases are pending. ‘You take care of stray dogs, it does not mean that you will put them on the streets and create obstacles in the way of normal people! As the other bench is hearing the other issue, we do not consider the writ petition itself’, the bench stated in its order.
Only Samrin Bano from Madhya Pradesh would have filed the petition. Stray dogs have been given protection in the state, there has been a complaint about caste breeding. I would have been a protection guide for 67 stray dogs. Only the authorities are taking any action regarding the racial allegation filed by Bano.
