Actually, the presence of a tigress is being seen around Kalyanpur village, located about ten kilometers from the city, since three days ago. Apart from the Forest Department, WTI teams are also engaged in monitoring the tigress.
The teams were busy monitoring the tigress at around eight o’clock on Sunday morning. During this, the tigress who came out of the sugarcane field reached the nearby mustard field. The tigress sat there for about five minutes. Standing at a distance, the officers of the forest department were keeping an eye on the tigress.
During this the tigress suddenly became alert. Seeing the activity of the tigress in the area, the officers also became alert. A tigress was seen leaping in the mustard field. The officers standing far away were engaged in churning. The movements of the tigress continued for about five minutes.
The officers guessed that there was a rat in the field. The tigress was leaping to catch the mouse. The officers were also surprised to see this scene. Anil Nair of WTI clicked pictures of the tigress leaping in the field.
Terai head of WTI Anil Nair told that teams were engaged in monitoring the tigress near Kalyanpur. Suddenly the tigress present in the mustard field started jumping. Everyone was alert on this, but it was estimated to be a rat by jumping at one place. However, after the rat left, the tigress again went to the sugarcane field.
