Special Representative, New Delhi: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) would have lost its party on Monday after the Election Commission had given Shiv Sena’s bow and bow as its election symbol to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. On Tuesday, Shiv Sena’s parliamentary party office in Delhi itself has been lost to him. This office has sent the following letter to the Lok Sabha Secretariat in the name of MP Rahul Shewale of Shiv Sena. ‘MATA’ would have given the news on Tuesday that there are clear indications of Thackeray going to the parliamentary office of Shiv Sena.
The MPs supporting Shinde would have written a letter to the Lok Sabha Secretariat on February 18, demanding that the office of the Shiv Sena be handed over to them. Secretariat Deputy Secretary Sunanda Chatterjee has replied to him and is waiting for the decision to give the parliamentary office to Shiv Sena. This letter was received at the Shiv Sena office on Tuesday. With the secretariat issuing the letter in the name of Shewale, it has become clear that the parliamentary office will be held by Shinde’s supporters. If 5 MPs of Thackeray faction with Sanjay Raut want separate office, then option is available to apply for the same. Last year, in the session of the Parliament held after the Shiv Sena split, the MPs from both the factions came and sat in the Shiv Sena office. Raut, Desai and Shinde’s supporters used to come and go to the parliamentary office at different times, just for the sake of debate.
There is a grand picture of Parshuram in the visual area of the present Shiv Sena office. The main hall has photographs of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, Meenatai Thackeray, Uddhav and Aditya Thackeray. Outside the office, there are plaques with the names of Sanjay Raut (Shiv Sena parliamentary party leader) and Anil Desai (Khajindar) or leaders of the Thackeray faction. It is clear that soon after the decision of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, they will be removed. That’s why Raut’s parliamentary party leader’s post is also confirmed.
Meanwhile, it is clearly visible that the Lok Sabha secretariat has taken the decision of the Election Commission as its basis while taking the decision to give parliamentary office to Shinde’s supporters. Thackeray has filed a challenge petition in the Supreme Court against the commission’s decision. The trial hearing will be held today, Wednesday. The Lok Sabha secretariat has decided to hand over the parliamentary office to Shinde Gatala on the basis of the commission’s decision, regardless of the judicial decision. A separate application has not been filed on behalf of Thackeray Ghatakya regarding objecting to it, sources said.
