Facilities like five star hotels are being developed in the tent city being built on the sands across the Ganges. Inquiries have started for the announced packages along with the booking of rooms. Those who are booking rooms will be able to stay alone or with family from January 15.
The costliest room in the tent city is the Ganga Darshan Villa. 30 thousand rupees will have to be spent for one night’s stay in this. The cheapest room will be Rs 8,000 for a single person and Rs 10,000 for a double occupancy in the same room. Four types of rooms are being prepared with five star hotel like facilities. At present, Pravez Communication has started setting up its part of 400 tent cities. This city, which is being decorated in front of Assi Ghat, will increase the movement of tourists from January 15. The entertainment of the tourists is also being taken care of. For this, preparations are on to declare a package along with a cultural evening. A tent city is being set up on 100 hectares in front of Assi Ghat on the banks of river Ganga.

According to the executive agency, the work of setting up the tent city will be completed by January 10. M/s Pravez Communication (India) and M/s Lalluji & Sons have been awarded tender for the construction for five years. Prevez Communication 400 and Lalluji & Sons have to set up a city of 200 tents. In this, around 92 tent villas have been constructed on the sand on the other side of Kedar Ghat from Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Along with the lunch and dinner, cultural evening will also set the tone. Along with the yoga camp, arrangements will also be made to reach Kashi Vishwanath temple for Darshan Pujan and Ganga Aarti.
