Karachi: At least nine security personnel were killed and 13 others injured in a suicide attack on Monday in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province. Police gave this information. According to the ‘Express Tribune’ newspaper, the blast occurred near a truck carrying Balochistan Constabulary personnel at Cambri Bridge on the Quetta-Sibi highway. Kachi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mehmood Notezai said preliminary evidence suggested it was a suicide attack.
However, it will be known only after investigation what kind of explosion it was. The bomb disposal squad has reached the spot and the area is being searched after the blast, he said.
