The doubling work on the Singrauli-Raman rail route of East Central Railway Dhanbad division is in full swing. Trains will soon run at full speed on this route. Railway Safety Commissioner Eastern Zone Subomay Mitra and DRM Dhanbad Ashish Bansal on Tuesday inspected doubling and electrification of rail line from Salaibanwa to Obra Dam railway station till Cati Junction. During this, he conducted standard checks at dozens of places on the doubling railway track between Salaibanwa to Cati Junction and reviewed the technical aspects.
In view of the visit of the Security Commissioner, preparations were going on for the last several days. The Security Commissioner, who reached Obera Dam Railway Station at around 11.30 am, also inspected several interiors including relay room, control room, IPS room, panel room, signal room, height of newly constructed platform, quality of foot overbridge built at the station. After this, Railway Safety Commissioner and DRM Cat left for the railway junction. It may be mentioned that the movement of trains will be started from the new railway track after the CRS gives the fitness certificate for the doubling work between Salaibanwa to Obra Dam and Obra Dam to Cati Junction at Chopan. All the senior officers, engineers and technical team of the Railways were involved during the inspection.
