Rajendra Singh, a resident of Dharavagarhi of the police station area, has been a district panchayat member from this area. He has three sons who live in a house built in Lucknow. Rajendra lives with his wife Sheela Singh in a house built in the village. Miscreants raided his house on Saturday night. The miscreants entered from the back side of the house and held his wife Sheela Singh, who was sleeping in the room, hostage at gunpoint.

During this, the miscreants even thrashed him for protesting. Rajendra Singh was sleeping in the verandah outside the house, so he could not know about the incident. The miscreants broke the lock of the cupboard and made away with gold and silver jewellery, about three lakh rupees in cash, utensils and clothes, including goods worth about 15 lakh rupees.

The miscreants kept the woman hostage for an hour. After the incident, the miscreants escaped from the spot. The victim woman told that three miscreants had taken her hostage, after which they fled on a bike.

After the incident sensation spread in the area. After getting the information, a heavy police force reached the spot and started investigation. In the investigation, it was found that the marks of the wheels of the bike have been found at some distance and empty boxes have also been found lying at some distance from the house.

CO Sidhauli Yadvendra Yadav, who reached the spot after getting the information, told that a case is being registered on the basis of Tahrir. Some suspects are being interrogated, the incident will be revealed soon.
