Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary Shivpal Yadav on Thursday shrugged off the controversial statement of senior party leader Swami Prasad Maurya, saying that it is his personal opinion. The party has nothing to do with his statement. On his statement, we and SP’s National President Akhilesh Yadav have already cleared everything. Shivpal said these things in a conversation with reporters at Circuit House on Thursday.
Shivpal Yadav, who reached the circuit house after consoling the family members of senior SP leader Sabiha Mohani after the demise, said that people associated with SP respect both Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. We worship him. SP respects all religions and scriptures. People of BJP are unnecessarily giving weight to the statement of Swami Prasad Maurya. By the way, Swami Prasad Maurya has also never opposed the book. He has written a letter to the Prime Minister.
