A speeding private bus going to Thanabhavan in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli on Thursday morning overturned in a ditch near Gandewada Sangam in Gadhipukhta area. More than 20 people were injured in the accident who have been admitted to the hospital. As soon as the information about the accident was received, there was chaos among the relatives of the injured. At the same time, on getting information about the accident, former cabinet minister Suresh Rana also reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured.
A private bus from Chausana town was going towards Thana Bhavan. According to the passengers, the driver was driving the bus at a very high speed. The bus lost control and overturned into a roadside ditch near Gandevada Sangam in Gadhipukhta police station area. Due to which there was a hue and cry among the passengers boarding the bus.
The people around took out the injured from the bus and informed the police. The injured were admitted to the hospital in the police station building. Five seriously injured were referred to Muzaffarnagar and three to Shamli. While the rest of the treatment is going on in the police station building.
On receiving the information, DM Ravindra Singh, CMO Dr. Sanjay Aggarwal and former cabinet minister Suresh Rana reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured.
