When the father refused to give money to repay the bank loan, the son killed him by hitting him on the head. After this, the neck was cut and separated with a knife and saw. Then cut the body into pieces and stuffed it in a suitcase and hid it in a tea shop in the street next to the house.
The incident took place on Saturday night in Surya Vihar Awas Vikas Colony of Tiwaripur area. Prince, the elder son of Madhur Murli Gupta (62), was asking for money for a loan of Rs 40,000 from the bank. On not being able to pay the instalments, the bankers took away his bike. When Madhur refused to give the money, Prince killed him. He was putting his father’s dead body in place when his younger brother Prashant came home. He informed the police on suspicion of not seeing his father. After investigation, the police took the accused Prince Gupta alias Santosh into custody. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder.
At the instance of the accused son, the police recovered the body hidden in a suitcase and sent it for postmortem. The knife and saw used in the murder were recovered. The accused had washed it, due to which it was sent for forensic examination. The police filed a case against the son for murder and hiding evidence and presented him in the court, from where he was sent to jail.
