The Vaishno Crystal Apartment, built by Jadaun Infratech at Maris Road in Aligarh Metropolitan, was sealed by the Aligarh Development Authority (ADA) 10 months ago. This action caused a lot of commotion among the residents of the area. After much deliberation, the Divisional Commissioner Navdeep Rinwa canceled the ADA’s sealing order and ordered for the seal to be opened. On Monday, the team of ADA reached the spot and opened the seal.
The multi-story building of Vaishno Crystal Apartments had all the modern amenities. Construction work was taking place in front of Hotel Palm Tree located near Maris Road. The authorities alleged illegal construction against the map as the builders did not respond to the queries raised by the ADA. As a result, the ADA team sealed the under-construction building on 13th May, 2022.
This action of the authorities was highly condemned by the builder, Jadoun Infratech. In order to seek justice, they filed an appeal in the Divisional Commissioner’s Court. All the documents such as the approved map were presented before the court. After hearing both the parties, the court invalidated the sealing action of ADA. Along with that, the Divisional Commissioner also gave orders to open the seal of the building. On being given instructions by the ADA Vice President Atul Vats, the seal was opened.
The builder, Yogendra Singh Bunty, argued that the apartment was being constructed according to the standards set by the ADA and the wrongful action taken by the ADA resulted in this whole episode. Finally, the decision of the Divisional Commissioner went in their favor and the order to open the seal of the building was passed. This is indeed a great victory of justice.
These days, the issue of illegal construction of multi-story buildings is increasing. Such unlawful actions cause a lot of inconvenience to the public and affect the quality of the environment. To prevent such incidents, it is important for the authorities to take strong action against the violators and ensure that justice is served.
