Screws on adulterators: ADM court in Firozabad imposed a fine of 20.44 lakh on 25 shopkeepers

ADM court has tightened the noose on adulterants in Firozabad. A fine of Rs 20 lakh 44 thousand has been imposed on 25 shopkeepers for failing to test food samples. The court has ordered the Food Safety Department to collect the fine from these shopkeepers. These samples were taken a year ago by the Department of Food Safety. After the report came, the suit was filed in the court. The action has created panic among adulterants.

District Designated Officer Dr. Sudhir Kumar told that the court has imposed a fine of Rs.2 lakh for finding less milk fat in the sample of mixed milk taken from Ram Pratap. Orders have been given to collect a fine of one lakh rupees for not having complete information on the packet of flour samples from Laxmi’s shop. The quality of the flour sample taken from Kamal Lal Traders was also not found good. Therefore, orders have been given to collect a fine of 10 thousand.

These shopkeepers were also fined

A total fine of Rs 15,000 has been imposed for the failure of three samples of flour for Sonu’s shop. Orders have been given to collect a fine of Rs.5,000 on vendor Ankit Agarwal, Rs.10,000 on Bhuvnesh Kumar, Rs.70,000 on Tinku Baghel for not getting the sample of milk as per the quality standard. 50 thousand for the adulteration of maida in the sample of chena from Nakul’s shop, Rs 1 lakh for the adulteration of chemicals in the goods being used in the sweet shop of Ram Niwas.

A fine of two lakh rupees has been imposed on the sample of cheese of Surashchandra for not getting quality as per standard in mustard oil from Anjit Kumar’s shop. Dharmendra Pathak has ordered to recover a fine of one lakh rupees for doing business without a license.

Along with this, one lakh on Anil Kumar, two lakh on Deepak, one lakh on Sachin, one lakh 50 thousand on Pradeep Rathore, one lakh on Satishchandra, one lakh 60 thousand on Parvati traders, Rakesh Five thousand on Gupta, 1.5 lakh on Omkar Singh, 10 thousand on Harishchandra, 70 thousand on Ram Gopal and 25 thousand rupees on Ramprakash.
