Police explaining to people on the spot

A painful accident took place late on Friday night in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Three people died in the accident, while three people were injured. Angry people blocked the road after the accident. However, later the jam was opened on the assurance of the officials.
According to the information, a truck full of dust crushed horse buggy riders late night in Mahal Khardauni village on Lavad-Mussoorie road. Three people died on the spot. Whereas, three people were seriously injured in the accident. Two real brothers were among those who died. On getting information about the accident, the relatives reached the spot and blocked the road.
On receiving the information, police and SP Dehat of several police stations reached the spot. By persuading the people, the jam was opened. Police sent the bodies of the dead for postmortem. Sitaram (45) son Sher Singh, a resident of Lavad, used to work as a horse cart driver in marriage.
On Friday, he had taken Lavad resident Taufiq, Ahzad son Nawab, Mohit son Sheeshpal, Naved son Liyakat, Ravi son Mahesh along with them to Fort Parikshitgarh in a horse cart for a procession. While returning late at around 3 o’clock in the night, a truck full of dust coming from Daurala hit the horse buggy in Mahal Khardauni village.
