On Thursday, Wardha and Pulgaon branch of Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh staged a sit-in in front of the ADEN office in Wardha due to non-availability of accommodation to railway employees and the problems of accommodation. In the memorandum given to the Wardha and Pulgaon branch of the Central Railway Labor Union, it has been said that the demand for houses is high, due to which the waiting has increased. But accommodation is not available. In the name of repairs, the houses are not being transferred to the employees. The roofs of the houses have become weak. Due to which water leakage occurs.
Due to leakage of water tank located in railway colonies, there is a problem of water in the houses. Due to breakage of the flooring of the houses, it is necessary to repair them. Health is being affected due to the overflowing of drains in the colonies and the dirty water spreading here and there. The boundary wall of the colonies has been broken but is not being repaired. As a result, there is free communication of anti-social elements in the colony.

According to the CIG meeting with the union representatives, the administration inspects the railway accommodation and after getting the details on the problems of the accommodation, it is assured to remove them. But still the problem is not being resolved, the organization has said. Due to old electric fittings in almost all the houses in Mandal Rail houses, there is a possibility of major untoward incident. Due to which it is necessary to do electrical fitting.
The organization has alleged that the problem of housing is not being resolved due to the negligence of the railway administration and lack of funds.
