Nagpur. Police raided a gang that cheated people on the pretext of 3 taka interest in three days. It is said that the police seized Rs 57 lakh by raiding the flat located in the Lakadganj complex. A young man named Sahil saw a post on Instagram in which information was given to pay 3 taka interest in 3 days for investing money in a firm named Vikrant Exchange.

Sahil contacted on the given number. First he invested Rs.1,000. Rs 1030 was returned in 3 days. Similarly, he started putting more money in the account of the accused. After investing Rs 7 lakh, he stopped getting profit. Sahil asked for the return of his invested amount. He was told that to get the amount back, he would have to invest more money.

Sahil also got his friend to invest Rs 2.50 lakh. Money was being demanded again and again but the benefit was not being received. Distressed, Sahil complained to DCP Zone 1 Anurag Jain. In the investigation, it was found that the office of the callers is in Lakadganj premises.

A joint squad of DCP Jain and DCP Zone 3 Gorakh Bhamre raided the flat on Saturday evening. It is said that 6 people were detained there. 57 lakh rupees were also recovered from the suspects. His interrogation continued till late night. Information about hawala transaction has also been received in this episode.
