The illegal construction of the market located on the southern track of the Allahabad High Court flyover was demolished by the PDA with bulldozers on Sunday. There were 12 shops built in the market. Many chambers of advocates were also formed in these. The action to demolish the illegal market from the PDA started at 11.30 am. With four bulldozers, the officers reached the market adjacent to Hotel Ravisha. Earlier, police personnel were deployed everywhere from the jurist Hanuman temple to the hotel.
PDA officers who arrived with the magistrate started the demolition by installing four bulldozers. According to Ashok Dwivedi, who built the market, he had signed an agreement of 1500 square meters of land with Shahid Razi in the year 2017. Advocates Chambers were built on this plot after getting the map passed from PDA. The complex was currently under construction.
During this, many people already occupied there were not ready to leave the premises. However, he went to the High Court in this matter. The High Court sent the matter to the Mediation Center. The process of settlement with the land owner went on three times in the Mediation Center but, things did not work out. Ultimately, the High Court ordered the PDA to demolish the illegal construction and submit an affidavit to this effect. In pursuance of the order, the 350 square meter construction was declared illegal and demolished on Sunday.
