One of the 21 terrorists shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to Naini Jail is a resident of PoK (Pak Occupied Kashmir). Rest of the terrorists are from Kashmir. After the arrival of these prisoners, the security system of the jail premises has been increased. All the terrorists brought from Jammu and Kashmir have been shifted here as per the Kashmir Public Safety Act.
On November 15, 21 terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir were shifted to Naini Jail in a very secretive manner amid heavy security arrangements. All these prisoners were lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu. All the terrorists have been kept in the high security cell inside the jail. Earlier also 30 terrorists were brought here. Now a total of 51 terrorists are locked here.
Along with this, two Bangladeshis and two Naxalites are also in the high security cell here. Four terrorists related to the Ayodhya incident have also been kept here. Two blocks of high security cell inside the jail have the capacity to accommodate 55 prisoners. Block A can hold 36 prisoners and Block B can hold 19 prisoners. Due to the terrorists, the security of the high security cell has been increased. In-charge Jail Superintendent RK Singh said that after the arrival of the terrorists, the security of the jail and barracks has been increased.
Third eye monitoring is done round the clock Central Jail Naini Complex is fitted with CCTV cameras. The high security cell here is monitored round the clock with CCTV cameras. Along with the deployment of security personnel outside the high security cell, soldiers have also been deployed in the control room, who always keep an eye on the activities of terrorists.

Rishabh alias Vicky Bhatt has also been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir’s Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu to Central Jail Naini as per Kashmir Public Safety Act.
