Mumbai. Protesting against Adani in front of the offices of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and State Bank of India (SBI), the opposition Congress on Monday demanded confiscation of Gautam Adani’s passport so that he could not flee the country. Adani is accused of manipulating the share price of his company and irregularities in transactions.
The Mumbai Congress leader said that entrepreneurs Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi fled the country because the BJP government did not impound their passports in time. Congress demonstrated outside the offices of SBI and LIC as part of countrywide protests organized by the party over the Adani case.
