IITians gave the message of environmental protection and social harmony through songs and music as well as acting. In the evening, Bollywood singer Darshan Raval created a tremendous atmosphere by giving a live performance at ADV Ground. He made the students dance to his feet with his mesmerizing songs.
Darshan Raval gave melodious renditions of many popular songs like Chogada Tara, Kamariya, Tu Mileya, Meri Pehli Mohabbat. He also performed his recently released song.
When Darshan Rawal presented the song Raate Lambiya-Lambiya, the students danced a lot. The artists on the stage and the audience in the gallery were seen dancing together.
There is tremendous enthusiasm among the IITians regarding the Kashiyatra which will continue till 22nd January in IITs. Amar Ujala is the media partner of this festival.
Different teams staged street plays on contemporary issues at the Rajputana Ground in front of Limbdi Hostel. In this, the challenge of environmental protection due to felling of trees near Baba Dham in Kedarnath and the suffering of the devotees coming here was shown. During this, the students chanted Har Har Mahadev.
