Wardha. Health care workers working on contract in the health department are sitting on the agitation for their demands, Wednesday was the seventh day of the movement, various organizations have shown their support to their movement. During this, District President of Kisan Sabha Eknath Dhoble, President of Medical Officer Federation Dr. Bhagwat Raut, Secretary Dr. Prashant Vadibhasme, Community Health Officer Organization showed their support by presenting them.
In Wardha district, the posts of 133 regular health workers are lying vacant, in such a situation, instead of giving appointment to the health workers working on contract, injustice is being done to them. Dissatisfaction is growing among them, not only this, due to the said movement, the work of health service in health centers and sub-centres has been affected.
Warning of self-immolation before the ministry
If the central and state governments do not take a proper decision, a warning has been given to self-immolation in front of the ministry on November 15. BJP district president Sunil Gafat has shown his support by presenting the movement. Women including Sangeeta Revde, Preeti Bokde, Lalita Aghavu, Radha Aglawe, Mangala Nikode, Sukeshni Patil, Manisha Mahabuddhe, Husna Bano, Dhammadini Shambharkar, general secretary of Aytak attached nurses union, have demanded immediate change of the unjust decision of the government.
