In this regard, a meeting of BLOs and supervisors of Rohaniya assembly was held in the auditorium of Kashi Vidyapeeth block on Saturday. In the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Assistant Electoral Registration Officer Pradeep Mishra, it was told about adding and deleting names in the voter list through the Garun app. Many BLOs pointed out the problem of not having a smart phone and not having a network. People who have completed 18 years by next 31 December were asked to register their names in the voting list. During this Atul Tiwari, Manoj Kumar, Ajay Prakash, Junaid Ansari etc were present.
Today all the Booth Level Officers (BLO) have been asked to be present at their polling place by 4 pm. Deputy District Election Officer Ran Vijay Singh said that the program of voter revision is going on in the civic elections. During this, BLOs will take forms for addition, deletion, modification and shifting of names of voters on behalf of the public. After scrutinizing them, the name will be added to the voter list. If the BLO refuses to take the form, action will be taken against him.
