Navy Chief said – China is a big challenge for India, also said this about Pakistan


Navy Chief About China-Pakistan: Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar believes that China remains a major challenge to India’s national security. Addressing a seminar in Delhi, the Navy Chief also said that China is trying to normalize its presence in the Indian Ocean under the guise of anti-piracy in the maritime domain.

Without naming China and Pakistan, Admiral Hari Kumar also said that the possibility of war with potential adversaries cannot be ruled out. He further said that we would have daily competition with these opposing countries and sometimes the dam of our patience waits to break.

Pakistan engaged in modernization of army

Navy Chief R Hari Kumar said that Pakistan is busy in modernizing the army even after going through economic crisis. He told that Pakistan is engaged in building a navy with 50 warships. The Navy Chief further said that we have to understand that in future war will be not only in land and sky but also in multiple domains like information and digital world.

terrorism a big challenge

Admiral Hari Kumar said that traditional challenges will continue to come from China and Pakistan, but apart from this terrorism is also a big challenge to our security. He said that along with playing a military role against China, Pakistan and terrorism, the Navy has to stop piracy (piracy), smuggling of weapons and drugs in the sea.

Discussing the role of the Navy in history, Admiral R Hari Kumar said that India had a completely land-centric approach, with the exception of the Chola Empire in the south. He said that from Rome and Greece to Europe, they ruled the world on the strength of their navies.

Navy will be completely self-sufficient in 2047

Admiral Hari Kumar said that the Indian Navy is on the path of self-reliance to become a maritime power. For this, all the warships that became part of the Navy’s war fleet last year were all made in India. Apart from this, out of the 41 warships being built for the Navy at present, 39 are being built in the country’s shipyard. Also, the 39 new warships for which the agreement is being signed will all be indigenous. The Navy Chief said that by the year 2047, the Navy will become completely self-sufficient.
