Nagpur, In the past years, it is claimed to bring industries in the district and provide employment to the youth, but the truth is that still many industries have not come. Plots have been reserved in industrial areas. Due to this, the development of Vidarbha including Nagpur is not gaining momentum. NCP City President Duneshwar Pethe has sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Nagpur to discuss such issues. A letter has been given to the Police Commissioner in this regard.
Pethe told that there are 5 industry areas in the district but there are not enough industries. Some industries are very old. Entry of new industries is announced but in reality industrial development is not visible. Due to the presence of coal washery near Gondkhairi mining area, there is loss of water and ash in the fields of the farmers every year. The number of these farmers is around 600. Despite this, no remedial plan is being done. Along with these, the industries migrating from Maharashtra also have to be discussed.
The situation of Karnataka border dispute is getting worse. Attention will be sought from the Prime Minister himself on this. The atmosphere is deteriorating due to the statements made by the Governor from time to time. There will also be a demand to send the governor out of Maharashtra. Pethe said that if the PM gives time to meet, then all issues can be discussed.
