Muzaffarnagar News: The SIT has put the final report in the case filed against advocate Amit Kumar on behalf of Neeru Agarwal, wife of Additional District Judge Sandeep Gupta, who was posted in Muzaffarnagar district. After the intervention of the Supreme Court in the famous case, the DGP of the state had formed the SIT under the chairmanship of IPS Luv Kumar posted in Gautam Budh Nagar.

Advocate Amit Kumar Jain had complained to the Chief Justice of the High Court making serious allegations against the Additional District Judge and his wife Neeru Agarwal. An audio of the conversation was sent in this case. ADJ’s wife had filed a case against Amit Jain in the Civil Lines police station. A petition was filed in the High Court to get the case investigated by the CBI. But after not getting relief from the High Court, the SLP was filed in the Supreme Court, which the Supreme Court took cognizance of.

After this, the High Court suspended ADJ Sandeep Gupta before the hearing in the top court and attached him to Moradabad. In this regard, the Registrar General of the High Court filed a counter affidavit in the Supreme Court. After the hearing, the Supreme Court ordered the UP DGP to constitute an SIT to investigate the matter. In which one IPS, one SHO and one deputy SP should be appointed. Orders were given to file the status report of the SIT in two weeks.

Officers involved in SIT

Additional Police Commissioner IPS Luv Kumar of District Gautam Budhnagar was appointed in-charge of the SIT by the DGP. Along with him, Deputy SP Alok Dubey and Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Vishnoi were appointed as members. Recently, the SIT team stayed in Muzaffarnagar for a week and took the statements of the people related to the case and investigated.

Advocate Amit Kumar Jain had made serious allegations against Additional District Judge Sandeep Gupta and his wife Neeru Aggarwal in the name of punishment in the case of kidnapping and murder of the younger brother. An audio in this regard was also sent to the Chief Justice. After that Amit Jain was prosecuted under serious sections by the wife of the judge.
