Murder in Bijnor: In village Lepuri of Chandpur in Bijnor district, a drunken son killed his old mother by beating her in the head for not paying money for liquor. It was told that when the mother forbade the son to drink alcohol, there was a fight between the two and in the meantime the son hit his mother in the head with a stick. Police has sent the body for post-mortem.

Devendra Saini (25), son of late Bharat Saini, resident of village Lenpuri of Chandpur police station area, had a fight with his mother Samundra Devi (65) over asking for money for liquor. In the fight, Devendra Saini hit his mother Samundra Devi with a stick in the head, in which Samundra Devi died on the spot.

On the other hand, on the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took Devendra into custody. After this, Additional Superintendent of Police Rural, Circle Officer Chandpur and Inspector-in-Charge Chandpur inspected the spot. Police has sent the body for post-mortem.

Superintendent of Police Rural Ramarz said that the accused son Devendra has been taken into custody. The body has been sent for post-mortem. There was a fight between the two over not getting money for liquor. In this dispute, Devendra had hit his mother with a stick.
