Chitrakoot Jail Superintendent Ashok Kumar Sagar and Jailor Santosh Kumar have been arrested by the police in connection with the meeting of MLA Mukhtar Ansari’s son Abbas Ansari and Nikhat in Banda Jail. Police is interrogating both of them in custody. It is being told that the police can send both of them to jail soon. Both are accused of unauthorized association of Abbas Ansari and Nikhat in jail. Police has already arrested Deputy Jailor Chandrakala and sent her to jail.
Let us tell that on February 10, DM Abhishek Anand and SP Vrinda Shukla raided Chitrakoot District Jail on the basis of information received from Lucknow. From there, while meeting MLA Abbas Ansari illegally, his wife Nikhat Bano and his driver Niyaz were caught. Many mobiles and other material including foreign currency were recovered from Nikhat.
