Mirzapur. STF Lucknow arrested Nitesh Singh alias Maharaj, self-styled mastermind of the banned organization Azad Hind Fauj, synonymous with terror in North Bihar’s Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Motihari and Muzaffarpur districts, from Vibhutikhand Gomtinagar, Lucknow’s Avadh bus stand. . The criminal had stayed with his companions in disguise near the Sitakund temple located on the Ashtabhuja hill of Vindhyachal for several days. STF came to Sitakund and investigated. The Superintendent of Police of Shivhar district of Bihar province sought cooperation from STF for the arrest of Nitesh Singh alias Maharaj. After which the team of Lucknow STF got involved in finding the clue of the prizes. STF investigation revealed that the accused was living with his associates in disguise in a temple near Sitakund located on the Ashtabhuja hill of Vindhyachal. STF constable Bhupendra Singh got information from the informer that a reward of 50 thousand was hidden in Sitakund. STF Lucknow raided near Sitakund but he was absconding. On Monday, the STF team under the leadership of JP Rai arrested Nitesh Kumar Singh alias Maharaj near Gomtigar Vibhutikhand Avadh bus stand in Lucknow on the information of the informer. ASP City Shrikant Prajapati told that the STF team had come for investigation.
