Brutal murder of forest watcher by beheading with sharp weapon

In Mirzapur, miscreants killed the watcher of the forest department with a sharp weapon in Phulayari forest of Halia police station area. The wife, who reached the forest for investigation in the morning, informed the police after seeing the dead body lying. The police reached the spot and started investigation.
Jamuna Prasad (50), a resident of Fulyari police station area, was posted as a watcher in the Forest Department for the last 15 years. He went towards the forest after having food from home on Friday afternoon. In the forest he found some people chopping wood. The woodcutters fled from the spot. After which the watchman came towards his house keeping the wood and the ax on the bicycle. Some distance away from the house, the son was called on the phone. Gave the son a bicycle along with wood and sent him home.
After this the watcher went towards the forest. The watcher did not come home at night. Due to which the family members started getting worried. Distressed relatives went out to investigate on Saturday morning. When the wife reached Fulyari forest, 100 meters away from the house, Jamuna Prasad’s dead body was lying in a bloody state. The miscreants killed him by beheading him with a sharp weapon. Also, his left eye was also torn. When the dead body was found, there was chaos among the relatives, the police were informed. On information, the police of Halia police station reached the spot. Taking the dead body into custody, the police has started investigating. The relatives have expressed the possibility of murder on the mafias active in the forest.
