In the case of Doda Post recovered 24 years ago in Muzaffarnagar’s Chapar area, the convict has been sentenced to ten years imprisonment and fine. The case was heard by Shakti Singh, the presiding officer of Additional Sessions Court No.7.
Special Public Prosecutors Pradeep Kumar and Bhupendra Singh said that in the year 1999, the police had caught accused Riyazuddin with 50 bags of illegal doda post in Chapar area. Charge sheet was filed against the accused. The case was heard in Additional Sessions Court No. 7. The court sentenced the convict Riyazuddin to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment and a fine of one lakh rupees. In default of payment of the fine, he will have to undergo an additional imprisonment of two months.

Life imprisonment to the person who killed the shop operator with a knife
The court sentenced life imprisonment to the person who killed the tire puncture shop operator in Katha village of Baghpat district. A fine of Rs 52 thousand was also imposed on him. The court said that in case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo an additional sentence of one year.
According to District Government Advocate Rahul Nehra and Additional District Government Advocate Ashok Kumar Saini, Ravi of Katha village had filed a case of murder on May 16, 2012 at Baghpat Kotwali. It was said in it that his brother Amit has a tire puncture shop near Chowdhary Hotel. Sometimes his brother and sometimes he used to sleep at the shop at night. Kapil of the village reached the shop several days ago with two of his friends and asked his brother Amit to feed them in the hotel. When his brother refused, Kapil slapped him while abusing him, then his father intervened.
Next day when Kapil reached there again with his friends, there was abusing and his brother Amit slapped Kapil. In this dispute, Kapil and another killed his brother by stabbing him several times with a knife while he was sleeping outside the shop at night. The name of Rahul of the village also came to light in the investigation of the police in this matter and the police filed a charge sheet against Kapil and Rahul in the court.
The hearing of this case was going on in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Sushil Kumar III. In which Kapil was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 52 thousand on Tuesday. Half of the fine will be given to the father of the deceased Amit. On the other hand, the accused Rahul was acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Report filed on female smuggler after getting ganja in Cantt
A packet full of cannabis was found lying in the restricted cantt area of Kankarkheda police station on Sunday. After this, the army team had thoroughly examined the packet. Later the police also investigated and on Monday registered a case against the female ganja smuggler. Station in-charge Uttam Singh Rathore told that one kg 800 grams of ganja was found in the packet. Army personnel had told that a woman had been supplying cannabis in a restricted area for a long time. Police investigated and registered a case against Anjali resident Jawahar Nagar. The police had raided to arrest the accused woman, but the woman was not at home. This woman has already gone to jail twice.

Life imprisonment for murderer husband
In Meerut, Additional District Judge and Special Judge POCSO Act Prahlad Singh II found the murderer husband Pankaj resident Ruhasa Meerut guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000. Cheating by getting thumb impression in the name of getting pension
Kanwarpal s/o Katar Singh, a resident of Amipur Balaini, told the police that a week ago two people came to his house. They tricked him and his wife by getting pension and building toilets from the government scheme.
It is alleged that after getting the Aadhaar cards of both of them, they put their thumb impression in their machine and went away after assuring that they would get benefits on receiving the call. Told that on Friday both of them went to the bank and checked their accounts, then ten thousand rupees each were deducted from their accounts. The station in-charge says that the investigation has been started by registering a case, soon the fraudsters will be arrested.
