In Mau, a loving couple was married in the presence of family members in the premises of the ancient Shiva temple located at Majhwara Mod in the local town. Relatives and well-wishers blessed the newly married couple and bid them farewell.
Arvind Nishad, a resident of Mataulipur of Ajmatgarh in Azamgarh district, was having a love affair with Jyoti Nishad, a co-sponsored girl for a long time. Both had run away from home and were staying at a relative’s place in Ghosi. When the relatives of both came to know about this, Ghosi reached there. The relatives of both sat with the elite people and explained to both of them.
After consent from both the parties, the marriage was performed in front of the priest at Narokhar Pokhara temple located at Majhwara Mod. Former District Panchayat members Awadhesh Kumar Bagi, Sanjay Singh, Rajesh Yadav, Ajit Yadav, Vivek Kumar etc were present on this occasion.
