Mukhtar Ansari was produced through video conferencing from Banda Jail on Wednesday in the case of MLA Nidhi and Ashala. During this, cross-examination of the then SHO South Tola Nihal Nandan took place in the Ashala case. ACJM MP/MLA Shweta Chowdhary fixed January 25 for arguments in both the cases.
The first case is of Dakshintola police station area. According to the prosecution, an FIR was registered against seven people including Mukhtar Ansari on the Tahrir of the then police station chief Nihal Nandan, considering the lobbying done in the fake arms case as the basis. In this, after discussing the matter, the police sent the charge sheet against six people including Mukhtar Ansari to the court. One of the accused has died. The matter is pending in the court of ACJM MP/MLA. In which the proceedings of evidence were to take place. Plaintiff Case Inspector Nihal Nandan appeared in the court for evidence. Mukhtar Ansari’s advocate cross-examined him, but the cross-examination could not be completed.
In the second case also the plaintiff did not appear in the court
The second case is of Sarailkhansi police station area. According to the prosecution, an FIR was registered at Sarailkhansi police station on the complaint of the then in-charge Inspector Ram Singh in the case of embezzlement of the MLA’s fund. Mukhtar Ansari, Anand, Baijnath Yadav and Sanjay Sagar have been made accused in the case. After investigation, the police sent the charge sheet to the court. Evidence proceedings are going on in this. On Wednesday, the cross-examination of Plaintiff Case Inspector Ramsingh was to take place. But he did not appear in the court. ACJM MP/MLA Shweta Chowdhary fixed January 25 for evidence.
