Due to heavy rains in Mathura, water-logging has occurred at many places. Water has also been flooded in the four-day Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Janmotsav Mela complex starting at Deendayal Dham in Farah. From Thursday morning, the teams started extracting water through pump sets. CM Yogi Adityanath was to come here in the afternoon to inaugurate the fair. The rain which started in the district from Wednesday night continues till Thursday morning. On the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a four-day fair and exhibition is being organized in his native village Farah. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was to come in this, but the venue of the rain has been flooded. The place where the Chief Minister was to address the Kisan Gosthi turned into a swamp due to water logging.

Due to the rain, the exhibition site was also flooded with water. A helipad for the first Chief Minister was built nearby. Due to water filling in it, a helipad was built about one km away on Wednesday evening, but due to the night rain, there was also water. In the midst of rain, the workers gathered in the morning to extract water from the venue by installing a pump set.
