Mumbai: Two people were killed and 30 others injured when a bus overturned in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district on Thursday. Police gave this information. An official said that the accident happened around 5.30 am. According to the official, the driver lost control of the bus at a sharp turn near Gad river bridge in Kankavli, 480 km from state capital Mumbai.

The officer said that there were 36 passengers in the bus and the bus was going from Pune to Goa. According to the official, two people died in the accident. He said that all the injured were admitted to Civil Hospital Kankavli for immediate treatment. (agency)
