The District Administration and the District Industry Center received investment proposals worth Rs 56,292 crore in the Investors Conference held in the capital on Tuesday before the Global Investors Summit. Maximum investment proposals were received in the real estate sector. At the same time, investment proposals worth Rs 15,485 crore were received with the help of Lucknow Development Authority. According to officials, about one lakh jobs will be generated directly and indirectly from these investment proposals.

Entrepreneurs gave 331 investment proposals at the investment conference held on Tuesday at Indira Gandhi Foundation in the capital. Of these, contracts were signed with 262, whose total value is about Rs 56292 crore. Apart from real estate, investment proposals have been received for Defence, Logistics Park. In real estate, apart from four integrated townships on Sultanpur Road, two hi-tech townships licensed earlier will come up at Shaheed Path and Rae Bareilly Road.

Making the departmental process smooth: Gangwar
DM Suryapal Gangwar said that necessary environment has been created in Lucknow to promote private investment. In order to ensure land for industries, apart from giving benefits in government policies, the process is also being simplified at the departmental level. In this, the process of land use from agriculture to non-agriculture will be completed in seven days. Similarly, on the purchase of more than 12.5 acres of land, necessary permission will also be given as soon as possible.

An easy environment will be given to the investors for the acquisition of land. At the time of applying for this, the investor only has to tell for what purpose the land has been purchased. After this the whole process will be fast tracked. With the setting up of new industries, development and facilities will reach undeveloped areas in the coming days.

In the investor conference, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that earlier goons in UP used to roam freely with guns, there was an atmosphere of fear. Today, there is a safe and better environment, due to which entrepreneurs from all over the world are eager to invest here. Pathak said that under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, we went to 16 countries. Investment proposals worth Rs 17 lakh crore have been received so far for investment in the state. The way entrepreneurs are eager to invest in UP. It is expected that UP will leave everyone behind in industrial development. He said that Britain had ruled our country, today we have left it behind on the economic scale.
