A sudden fire broke out in the RO’s office Well Star Advance on the first floor of Prince Complex, Hazratganj in Lucknow on Thursday morning. People tried to control it, but the fire equipment was faulty. Meanwhile the flames reached the third floor. There was difficulty in breathing due to the smoke filling the call center and coaching on the fourth floor. Firefighters who arrived on the information, rescued 80 people trapped in the front after a lot of effort. The flames were brought under control in two and a half hours with the help of ten fire tenders. However, by then six shops had burnt down.

The owner of the office, Aman, told that when Binu, who was working, opened the office in the morning, the information about the fire started. This information was given to father Chandramal Prasad. Meanwhile the flames reached the third floor. Smoke started filling the call center and coaching on the fourth floor. Liftman Ram Naresh told that somehow after opening the door people ran towards the roof. Then he took a sigh of relief. Meanwhile, the firefighters had started the rescue work.

According to Hazratganj FSO Ram Kumar Rawat, the complex owner does not have a fire NOC. Inspite of issuing notice in this regard, negligence was done. According to ADCP Central Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, action will be taken on the report given by the fire department after investigating the accident site. At present, the cause of the fire is being ascertained.

The web of wire blocked the way of the fire brigade
It took two and a half hours for the fire brigade to douse the fire that broke out at Prince Complex in Hazratganj on Thursday morning. One of the reasons why it took so long for the relief work to be completed is the web of electric wires spread in the area. According to the people present at the spot, fire brigade vehicles started reaching the spot as soon as the information about the accident was received, but due to the web of wire, they had trouble in the rescue work. JCP Piyush Mordia has asked the shopkeepers to get the electricity wires removed.

Shiva, a resident of Golaganj, who works in the complex, says that if there was no wire mesh, it would have been easier for the fire brigade to do their work. On the other hand, on the information of the incident, DCP Madhya Aparna Rajat Kaushik, ADCP Rajesh Kumar Srivastava and other top officials reached the spot. Along with this, information was also given to SDRF.

Flames rose again after half an hour
The fire tenders returned after dousing the fire. However, half an hour later, flames were reported again from the spot. Immediately the fire brigade arrived again and doused the fire. According to the information, the complex has two coaching, 12 offices and more than 100 shops. All these shops have been bought by the people, but arrangements have not been made for security, while two to two and a half hundred people are present in the complex at all times.
