In the Periyar area of Unnao district, the dead body of a missing teenager was found in a dilapidated condition on the roof of a liquor vend, about seven hundred meters away from the house. On the apprehension of death by being crushed under the grip of a vehicle, the police kept the dead body in an unknown post-mortem house at 2 o’clock in the night, without identifying the people of the village.
When the relatives reached the outpost on Thursday morning, the police identified the dead body by showing the photo of the dead body found at night. On the Tahrir of the uncle of the deceased, a report of kidnapping, gang rape and murder of the teenager was registered when the ruckus calmed down after about five hours. The police have picked up a youth from the village on the basis of suspicion.
