An attempt was made to kidnap Pihu (10), daughter of Rashtriya Samaj Party leader Naresh Kumar, from Kanosha Convent School in Vijaynagar, Ghaziabad. The young man who came to kidnap told the school staff that Pihu’s father, studying in class four, is locked in the police station, send him with him. When the staff asked him to show the parent’s identity card, he lied that he had left the house in a hurry.

On this, as soon as the employee called Naresh Kumar, the youth fled from there. Seeing the recording of CCTV camera, Naresh Kumar recognized him and lodged the report. Naresh Kumar, a resident of Sector-22, Vijayanagar, has contested the assembly elections. He told that this incident happened on 23 January.

The youth had reached there just before the school break. He reveals his name as Aditya at the reception and says that he has come from Pihu’s house. It has become very difficult. Pihu’s parents are locked in the police station. Her father has sent her and told her to take him home. Aditya said don’t delay, quickly send someone to the class room and call Pihu and send with her.

The staff told her that as per the school rules, they can send the girl child only with the person who has the identity card issued to the parents. On this the young man replied that he had the identity card with him but in haste he had left it at home. There will not be any such mistakes in the future.
